
Saturday we visited Chiricahua National Monument.
Somehow it was refreshing to see Park Service employees... it
was like being home again. It's really exciting that I photographed
this one particular lizard, the New
Mexico Whiptail. According to my field guide, their range
doesn't reach this area. The closest they get is the southwestern
edge of New Mexico. Pretty incredible!
