
We were told that the Chiricahua Mountains
area was considered the Galapagos of the United States because
of the amazing diversity of wildlife. It didn't take much convincing
to go down and visit. The first day we arrived, we went to Coronado
National Forest, on the east side of the Chiricahuas.
