On the way back to Scottsdale from the Chiricahuas
we stopped in Tucson. I had heard good things about Sabino Canyon,
and we got to spend an hour or two there. Moments before we
got to the trail, a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake had just
crossed the path and slithered into the brush. Mark and I heard
about it and searched for it to no avail. I never did see a
rattlesnake the entire time I was in Arizona. But the trip was
still well worth it.
