Wednesday was spent in Sedona, a couple hours north of Phoenix. The first thing we did was take a Pink Jeep Tour of the Honanki Ruins. We were told the tour would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours long. What we didn't realize was that only half an hour would be spent exploring the ruins, the remainder of the time would be spent riding on bumpy dirt roads in a crowded jeep. The tour was informative though... the guide told me about the 12-foot long rattlesnake he saw in San Diego once. It was so long it stretched all the way across the road, and it was a foot in diameter. Talk about a tall TAIL (get it?).

If anyone can help me identify the hummingbird in the photos, I've narrowed it down to either a female Black-chinned or a Costa's hummingbird.

And remember, for a really long, expensive jeep ride where you hardly get to see anything of interest, led by a know-it-all tour guide who in actuality doesn't know anything, contact Pink Jeep Tours Sedona!
